These particular Razorbill decoys have cork bodies and wooden heads, and the photo was taken prior to adding their ballast keels. These were made for the US Fish & Wildlife Service and serve the downeast Maine coast near Machias. We also carve lifesize Razorbills out of cedar in floating, nesting, and standing poses. The lifesize upright Razorbill measures approximately 15" from the top of the head to tip of tail.
Sadly, decoy cork has become a scarce and exhorbitantly priced commodity, so we are no longer offering cork-bodied decoys.
