Atlantic Puffin

Our new Atlantic Puffins are carved from White Pine, but that is where the similarity to our working Puffin decoys ends. This one is far more detailed, both in anatomy and in painting. Breast and flight feather groups are contoured, and he has glass eyes and sports the classic Puffin puffy cheeks. Inspired by our mischievous feathered neighbors here on Penobscot Bay.
